My goal is to qualify for Boston to run in 2024. I'm trying to aim to get a BQ at this year's CIM marathon in December. I need a sub 3:30 to qualify, which is a sub-8:00 pace. Last week I raced a 10 miler at an 8:01 pace, so I know it's a pace I'm capable of. But the question is whether I can get into good enough shape to be able to hold that for 26.2 miles (at an even quicker pace really) by December. I think I can do it but I want to set realistic expectations. Any insight is much appreciated!
