Good day to you Greg I really have no idea but I am adamant that you should run that Edmonton marathon regardless of whether you have the sufficient training because you are capable of breaking the elusive four hour barrier and you could im fact break 3 hours.
Greg, even though everything about "Steve" is almost certainly 100% fictional, he's still been one of your biggest supporters on this forum, and you always respond positively to him.
He happens to be right here -- you would really benefit from going all-in on the marathon, and with solid focus and honest effort, you could do well. It's a hugely positive life experience.

I am an adult and can determine whether a marathon is something I want to do, especially so considering I've run thousands of miles. It's not necessarily a good idea because posters on Letsrun say it is. I can figure it out for myself thank-you.

If you are "an adult" who can figure things out for yourself, why do you need to be taken care of by others?

People are only bringing up the Marathon distance because you said you could have run under 2:45 and you belittled people for running 3 hour + Marathons.

No, you don't get it. I said my PRs were better than a 3 hour marathon and that hasn't changed. I said I believed I had 2:45 ability when I was running and stand by that. I didn't say I could run 2:45 right now.
