Inb4 all the deranged SJW's come in to claim that "nobody is trying to teach your kids CRT!!!" and in the next sentence also claim that Florida politicians are fascists for not wanting kids to learn CRT.

How is Florida now normal and sane? When did this happen?

This makes total sense to me. I am a math teacher at a private high school and we also rejected several textbooks for the same reason.

All kinds of crazy liberal woke examples in the textbook. It sounds crazy until you actually pick up and read these books. Many textbook companies know their textbooks will be chosen by teachers unions not for being excellent, but for being the most woke.

Can you explain what is racial, common core, or social emotional learning in these math books? Is it as simple as, "Tyreek has three pairs of sneakers. He gives one pair to his sister, Latoya. How ,any pairs of sneakers does Tyreek have left?", and white conservatives only want traditionally white names used?

So, there are "all kinds" of examples you don't like, and yet you don't provide a single piece of evidence for this.

Ok, I found a link to one of the rejected books, which combines completely unrelated questions about Maya Angelou with algebra questions. 1) this is bonkers stupid. 2) this isn’t CRT

Imagine being such a boot licker that you support the government censoring books without it providing the content in said books worthy of the censorship and expecting the reasoning to come after said banning.

The more troubling trend I see is the slow elimination of honors and AP classes due to "racial disparities" and "equity".

I still didn’t see the actual example of a math problem that is injected CRT.
