Mizuno Wave Rider 25 changes

That's interesting. I thought the 24s sucked (comparatively to most Mizunos), though still adequate. was actually looking at snapping up a discounted pair of 24s just because i'm cheap. Maybe I'll need to go check out a newer pair of 25s in a store to see if the changes suite me at all.

I'm with you on changes being annoying though. You know, find a new favorite shoes, and a year or two later it's gone...

Running with Mizuno’s suck. Every iteration is like a grab bag of taking what you like about the past version and messing it up. I would pay 25$ to punch whoever designed the toe box on the Wave Inspire 15 in the face.

That being said, I did feel like the ball of my foot slid around a lot in the shoe in my Mizuno Wave Rider 25s. My heel was fine, I tie it with the “Runner’s Loop” (Secures the heel and prevents toes from sliding forward).

I switched to Saucony.

Every iteration of the Wave Rider is either my new favorite shoe or my new most hated shoe. 😂
