Didn't do much for me. Entertaining guy, though. As I recall his training program was low mileage with a good amount of intervals. I am more of a high mileage guy, so I typically augmented the training with more mileage. It should be noted, though, that I was a student at the time, and he was keenly aware that most of us were out there to have some fun, compete a bit, but our main focus was in the classroom. I'm not sure how the training of the UCTC non-students differed.
Typical week during XC season:
Mon: Warmup, 5 miles in the park, cooldown
Tue: Repeat 400s (actually 440 yds)
Wed: Don't remember
Thu: Repeat miles in the park
Fri: Easy day
Sat: Race
Sun: Recovery day
