Didn’t huddle split like 14:50 at 5k in that race?

They are good, but they are never quite good enough and that is the problem, Ben.
SHE NEEDS A 4:50.8 FOR THE FINAL 1600.
The blue lights are almost at her! She needs to hold on to the lights and kick finish.
Needs a 2:22 last 800!
Going to be tight. 2 laps to go. Looks a bit ragged.
Needs a 67 last lap!!
Great effort!! Soon for sure. #2 US
She's gonna do it!!
30:14.66... so close but a freaking amazing run!
wavelight 5 seconds too slow again????? Looked like it came in at 13:18, why?
I don't get why the lights were 30:16. I think she could have ran down 30:13 lights.
Also a 19-sec PR for Dom Scott!!
So were the lights not set to AR pace? Pacing tonight has been confusing
The pace lights were off again! They were set to 30:15. She was kicking to beat that.
Top 9 under the 31:25 World standard including Lipari in her 10K debut.

I had the same thought. When I saw Cranny catch and pass the lights, I assumed she had the AR. Strange to not set the lights to match it.

You are right, totally confusing. The announcers have been saying that the lights are on the AR pace, but Elise Cranny beats the lights and misses the AR by a second.
Damn. I made two posts in the finall 800 but in the wrong thread.
800 to go: I thinks shes going to miss it. She needs like a 221.
74 - 67?
Should have made Frerichs rabbit.
I had final 400 as 35.0, 32.6
