I ran a meet recently on a unbanked 133m track and did pretty good (top 10 in the state for 1600 and 3000m) and someone told me I would likely run quicker at the next meet due to the tracks being different.
the next meet is on a banked 200m track. I can’t understand how I would go faster just because of a few meters and it being banked
is it true that I’ll go quicker or is that person just wrong
