Throughout May through August I was training with Tinman and he got me incredibly fit, I time trialed 14:51 before the season had begun. I transferred to a new high school and asked my coach if it would be okay to continue working with Tom over the season. He said no because he wanted all of the team on the same training plan because it was easier to oversee what everyone was doing. Which I understood. I ran 15:04 and 15:09 this XC season but I expected a lot better. My track season starts next week and I want to ask him again if I can work with Tom(I've been working with him December-Now) throughout the track season since it's much more individual. I am hoping he will say yes as I have big goals this season but I just don't quite know to talk to him about it as he already said no during XC. What talking points should I bring up?
