OK, I know it's old school, but I have a couple old Timex Runtrainer/Runtrainer 2 watches. The batteries still seem to hold their advertised run time in gps mode (6-7 hours). These watches have everything I need time, distance, elevation and avg pace. That's all I need, everything else is disabled/off. From time to time I use the Training Peaks software to adjust a setting here and there, alloffline. I'm sort of in the market for a new watch, cost isn't an issue, I don't need a coach, no music/strava/other useless to me stuff. Are there any new generation of watches, with good battery life that can interface with a computer or phone app OFFLINE. As I research this it seems not to be the case , where they all have login online of some sort to access user settings, this is a deal breaker for me. So any gps watch that can be interfaced with offline?
