Hoka Cielo X MD Spikes

Honestly the worst spikes. The foam is trash and you can bend them in half. Stick with either Adi, NB or Nike's.

These guys have not raced in them and Nikes. No way. They are great shoes.

Any suggestions on where to get them or the New Balance FuelCell MD-X? I don't wear a size 14.5 so I can't find either of them in stock.

If you are looking for a superspike, don't. My victory elite from 2012 have the same tech and are lighter. So do Mambas, Brooks ELMN8, and probably other spikes too. Adidas, Nike, or NB are what you want, Saucony too once they release their offering.

I bought my son some yesterday. He's a sophomore in high school. His personal best in the 1600 meters is a 4:20. He's racing the 1600 meters this Saturday so I'll let you know his results and his thoughts.

The HOKA spikes are obsolete. They have an excellent build quality and they are a big step up from the older generations of spikes. However, HOKA's spikes fall woefully short of the Dragonfly, the adizero Avanti, the FuelCell MD-X and LD-X, and likely On's Cloudspike 10000m as well. HOKA is simply not a good brand for competitive athletes.
