I was responding to a person that just did the course to course comparison, with a course to course comparison of my own to prove otherwise. That was kind of the point. But given your below average mental capabilities, you couldn’t grasp it. My apologies.
None of us are wrong about the RL course being a joke. Entire fields of runners PRing by :20-:50 IS a joke. Always has been. Always will be.
You keep conflating mockery of the silly RL course with criticizing NP. They aren’t the same thing.
Since you’re obviously young and ignorant-
You do realize high schoolers chasing incredible indoor times in January / February is a relatively new phenomenon, right? Especially for guys in the Midwest who deal with actual winter weather. Ritz, for instance, never ran time trial style races like this indoors. Ritz never traveled to another state or raced big meets on a banked/oversized indoor track in high school. He would only travel for indoor nationals (which were also all on flat tracks back then).
The NP guys are incredible. Literally no one on LRC has said that they aren’t. No one. But there were a few guys right with them at RL. And the times they just ran- though blazing fast- have been run in even the very recent past. Hunter, who also did the surprising Jan/Feb Mile/3000m push his senior year, went 3:57.8 and 7:58 (on a flat track) indoors.
