I'm a masters hobby jogger in my first track season. I have my final indoor race in 2 weeks time. Would really like to break 2.10...previous p.r 2.16...
Any ideas on final workouts to get the best out of myself?
I've raced weekly over the last 4 weeks and have ran 2.17/ 2.17/2.13/2.14
1 speed session a week , 1 x90min run, 1x60min w.strides,1x45min easy
Would usually run 5/6 times week but reduced volume due to races.
Last 3 speed sessions 11, 18,25 Janurary: were 10x300@ 51avg off 2min / 5x500m @1.30avg /6x200@30avg off 1min.
Usually run 40-50mile week
