Vaporfly Next% next iteration?

They released the next% 2 last spring. The alphafly is next up for a v2 I thought.

Next% 3 is due out in 2023.

The Vaporfly Next% "2" is pretty much identical to the first iteration with a few small product improvements to address field issues.

I'm curious what a 3rd iteration would entail. The expectations would be at least a small increase in performance. I wonder how plausible this is? Nike spent a lot of years of research to develop the Next%. All the other companies are playing catch-up... some are close but I still think Nike has the highest performing shoe on the market for the majority of people.

So how do you improve on the current design?

- Tweak the foam recipe to get even higher energy return? I'm not a material scientist so is this possible with the current PEBAX?

-remove some unnecessary weight... I would think they would have milked this already but maybe there's still some oz to spare?

-Tweak the mechanics of the plate? Seems like they nailed this part... changing this could either improve the shoe or make it worse.

Nike just released the Streakfly 5k/10k racer. That's a pretty substantial release for Spring 2022.

was there a sequence of release of the color variants? in various european webshops, one color seems to be cheaper ( barely volt/hyper orange/volt/black). could there be a product reason for this? e. g that this shoes were the first next 2? does the sole degrade if the shoe is unused e. g. in the shop shelf for 1 year?
