Ha, ESPN has the Chargers in the NFC Championship Game instead of the Rams!

So that game played out just like you expected, huh? I didn’t see Tom Brady holding back the offense like the posters here stated. Looked like he went on another historic comeback run that was halted by a great throw and catch by stafford.
I grew up in awe of Montana but I think he'd agree that Brady is better.

100%. By comparison Rodgers has been in a whopping ONE superbowl total. Brady's been to what, 10? 11?

Mac Jones will be better than Brady

Why should he be treated any differently than anyone else? Plus he is now a liability. All those lucky breaks and he still loses. Pathetic!
Just got entirely outplayed by a quarterback who had 0 wins in 12 years as a quarterback.

Not to disparage Tampa and Brady but the Rams gave them a lot of breaks that resulted in that comeback. It was almost as if they decided at 27-3 that they were on a glide path to victory and it took Tampa drawing even for them to realize the game doesn't end til the clock strikes 0.

How many points off of turn overs did Tom convert? That’s all that you have control over as a QB. A less capable QB doesn’t turn those turn overs into points, a quality QB does. Simple as that.
Kudos to stafford on a great play to seal it. Just like you called it, queerious

Yes I think we are all in agreement that it is time for the goat to be out to pasture.
And those turnovers were at some where between the 20-30 yd lines. Again credit to the QB but if Rams lost it would have been all on them.

At what point did I demean Montana?
“ I think Tom has, you know, taken his place on the top up there a long time ago,” Montana said Wednesday on ESPN. “He’s had a tremendous career, is fun to watch. ... Everybody always contests over that, but I think if you look at what Tom has been able to accomplish in his time that he’s played, I think it puts him definitely up there in the top of the list."

Rams -Niners should be exciting. California Bowl, haha.

One more reason Montana is the goat.
Watched the game, glad LA won but I knew it would be close. With Brady, a team is never out of it.

People say that but the problem is Tommy is not the best QB on the field anymore. He averaged 6.1 yards per attempt while Stafford averaged 9.6. Tommy needs to retire.

If Brady played in the 80's he'd have quit after 3 quarters.

Tommy WAS great but he is now mediocre and a liability against a great pass rush.
His line was banged up and he still staged a comeback. Not sure anything has changed with his mobility?
