I have a pair from Nike I bought a few years ago. I don’t remember the model, but they don’t make them anymore, of course.
I go to the Nike and adidas store often and I can never find them. I check running warehouse. Even Amazon.
They are a bit pricey and 7.5” inseam, but the best shorts I’ve owned.

They are athletic shorts with a drawstring and elastic waistband, and I promise they are the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever run in.
I dont care if you buy them or not, just sharing my experience. I also have a 2 in 1 pair of shorts from them, but prefer these ones.

I used to wear my shorts inside-out to hide the seams.
Got some looks sometimes, but most people just let me slide, with a chuckle or an eye roll. That or Vaseline, which pist off my wife bewash machine on stuff in the washmachine.
Path Projects. The pockets are excellent. The lightest weight shorts are really light. Variety of lengths.

Try a pair of scissors and just cut the liner out.

I've resorted to doing that on some older pairs, but also feel I'm paying a $15 premium for something I'll never use.
