Hi new to this forum. I have recently got more into running, and have been really enjoying it! However, not sure when I should be changing my running shoes, they don’t necessarily look dirty or beat up, but I have been running in them for I would say 1-2 months now. Any advice for knowing when to change my running shoes is much appreciated. Thanks!
Get two, three pairs of different brands and rotated your running shoes throughout the week.
They can last anywhere from 300-800 miles. It depends on your budget and/or if you are willing to ruin your feet and run in worn out pairs.
500-600 miles.
How much do you weigh and what surfaces do you run on? 250-750 is a typical range. If you are 180+ running on cement, it’ll be closer to 250. More seasoned runners have less friction in their stride, and running on grass or dirt will also prolong the life of shoes.

My current pair has about 2500 kms on it, and a hole in the toe and I've been thinking I should buy some new ones, but haven't got around to it yet. People are way too worried about what's on their feet.

While that’s true for some people, others are injury prone AF like me. In addition to lots of exercises and stretching, I’d wind up at the PT way before I ever made it to 2500k on a shoe.
