In Illinois we have Sam Cortes age 54.....10k around 35 flat
that's just one...please help me people from illinois with other picks!

I dont know how old gus quinonez coach is maybe around 60, but bill sumner has been a top masters runner for a long time.

45-50 Tim Mylin (25:32 - 5 miles; 16:01 - 5K)
51-54 Gary Roemesser (17:00 5K; 1:14 Half Marathon)
sorry about that.....I guess I thinking along lines of distance road racing....anything between a 5k and marathon that is impressive
In the state of Washington it is pretty easy to pick. Regina Joyce dominates every Masters distance on the womens side. Tony Young destroys everyone from the 400 to the Half M when he decides to race. Both are known as track, road and cross country runners.

Last year Eric Putnam ran 15:52 on the track for 5K and 32:5? for 10K on the track

The list in this state can go on and on.
-Dennis Leck still owns property in the state
-I'm sure there is a ton of guys in the southwest corner that can kick ass too.

40+ and still pulls out a 1:12 half on a hilly, nasty course. He can still run in the low to mid 15s for 5k also.

She's possibly the fastest master's marathoner in Illinois, male or female.
I'd say Mark Curp is right up there with Wegenka, but is a few years older I believe.
gotta give it up for Tony Young in WA close to 4 flat in the mile (4:05 or so I believe).
