Ran this time off of 45-55 miles a week while working a full-time retail job. I'm turning 24 this month, need some motivation, training advice.
M - easy
T - easy
W - 4mi tempo or 2x2mile + hills (30sec to 1 min reps)
R - medium length easy
F - easy
S - Hard long run (get up to 90min)
Su - easy
M. - easy
T - 5xmile or 4x2k or 8x1k etc… with 1 min rest at tempo effort with 200s afterwards
W - medium length easy
R - easy
F - 8mi tempo
S - easy
Sun - easy long run
Every so often replace on of those sessions with a 5k or 10k paced workout depending on your goal
1:15 is a great debut! Need some motivation? The half marathon world record is 57:31 & is held by someone running 100+ mpw.
If you find enjoyment in it, run more miles & find a coach/group to train with. No doubt you can get a lot better if you find the motivation you're looking for.
