Post grad runner here, I have been mostly training for mile/3k stuff lately. The problem I'm having is the inevitable lose of using tracks for workouts. I live in the Northeast and normally when it snows I am able to use a local colleges indoor track. Unfortunately due to covid, a lot of colleges that I would normally workout at are lockdown hard core for non students so I cant use their indoor tracks. Right now I am lucky enough to be training on an outdoor track, which is fine, but when it inevitable blizzards I wont be able to use it. Tempos, and intervals farther then a mile I am usually fine with doing on the roads, but I am not sure what to do when I need to get in some fast 200s and 400s, I've never really done any speed session like that on anything but a track.
