He is the most decorated distance runner of all time and the greatest kicker the world has ever seen so why is he get no respect?

Its because he never chased fast times and turned the diamond league into a 13:05 snooze fest everytime he raced. One of the greatest championship racers in history, but I think people dislike how he tried to slow down every single race he ran.

In addition to this, he was one of the most blatantly dirt runners of the era. His coach was literally banned for doping violations. Galen Rupp generally gets the same hate around here, which is justified.
Mo Fraud gets no respect because all his medals are fraudulent, won in large part thanks to having his peak coincide with the least competitive era in modern distance running. If Mo Farah's peak had been a decade earlier or later, he wouldnt have a single gold medal.

You can’t blame him for the era in which he ran. All you can do is beat the competition available. He did. Farah is not a goat, that’s clear, but he’s not a bum either. He got the most out of his talent and ran the sort of race he needed to win. People on this board blame him for winning in slow times. If there were others in the race that could have pushed the pace and won, they should have done it. As for doping allegations, not sure what to say. Many others have a similar past and get a pass on these boards. I think a lot of this hate stems from the fact that he seems to have a unlikeable personality. Maybe so, but that’s not a reason to disparage his accomplishments. He wasn’t the best ever, but he was pretty darned good.
All the best runners get the same disrespect from jealous people. He doesn't get any more hate than other world beaters.
You can say he's good, just dont prop him up as a rival to the greatest runners ever just because he has medals. Thats the problem, casuals equate medal counts to greatness, which doesnt work if you pay attention to how the medals are won. His legacy remains as one of bullying weak fields and making a mockery of our sport in the process.

He took the Covid vaccine thats why
doorbell mo is disrespected for two reasons:
He is a doping cheater.
He is a classless jerk.
None of the hate that the cheater mo gets is from jealousy. People love Herb Elliott and Jim Ryun and Steve Ovett and Geb. They were clean and had class.

oh you know maybe cause in his actual prime (20-25) like most pros run their 5k pr, he was mid pack, then moves on over to al sal after his prime and has miracle improvement in his late 20s very very very similar to regina jacobs in late age break through. well we all know she got popped for THG and EPO....but nope mo was just doing sit ups for the first time in his life and booooooom
check his PRs from when he was 25, the age where 99.9% of 5k pro guys have set their PR.

as you can see he ran 1 second slower, LRs would be screaming for him to get a real job...instead he headed to ethiopia and started having some guy named Aden hold his stop watch

not much to see time wise, but going from not making the final 4 years prior to smashing everyone with his now famous old man kick he is double olympic champ. as ramzi did in the 1500 and made it look easy, so did mo when he found his new set of wheels on his 29 yr old legs
from here on out the noobs only know of this new mo, instead of the mo that was getting 6th-9th in 5ks and had a PR of 13:07 at 24 yrs old and stayed at that level for 2 more years.
go ahead and check the PRs of any other top 5 guy in the world for 5k and tell me how many of them went from mid pack to unbeatable at 28/29 yrs old?
then you add in the fact that he accomplished this task while having Aden hold his stop watch, and al sal getting him on thyroid meds, l-carnatine infusions, androgel rub downs with happy endings, and from what we have been told lots of push ups and sit ups.
so you have all of this, his arrogant annoying attitude, and his obvious ability to run WR times but instead turned everything into some lame sit and kick.....oh and that fancy bears leak that had him on the "likely doping" list
Black immigrant from a third world country who runs for Britain
I think it is that time he punched and kicked a female at Geb’s hotel gym in Ethiopia. Wasn’t a good look.

I think #2 is playing a major role. Farah seems like a pompous ass. Of course, this is public perception and may or may not be true. Lagat has a questionable past as it pertains to doping, but he is most loved on these boards. Lagat appears to be an extremely likable and humble. I get human nature, but we should hold everybody to the same standards when it comes to calling out shady behavior and not be swayed by who’s “nice or who grants access, etc. I think most of the Farah hate is a personality thing. It’s the Barry Bonds phenomenon.

What "Farah hate" are you talking about? He has always been a friendly and cheerful character.
But if you p!ss him off, he will let you know. Good for him I say.
I think your brain has been infected with jealous troll spamming. Stay away from the Internet if it's really affecting your ability to rationalize.
No disrespect here for Farah. Seems more likeable than a lot of runners.
And success speaks for itself - doping haters go home devastated.
Just glad he's in his sunset years, so I don't have to see that ridiculous Mobot "M" again.

This is truly the biggest eye opener. It's not about personality like other people suggest. It's not just the manner in which he ran while in a weak era.
Its that his progression is so blatantly suspect.
Uncle Jama and Mo are narcissists devoid of any morals.

I'm not sure Lagat is really that loved on these boards. You can't find many threads on Lagat without people mentioning his positive test every other post.
