I've read several reports here on LetsRun and on Facebook where a runner set a PR after the vaccination. It seems contradictory because the vaccine causes an immune system response that should, in theory, reduce your performance slightly for a day or a few days.

But regardless, you aren't the only person to experience this. What it means is a guess.

It's like a taper. Volume gets reduced due to the vaccine's side effects, which allows your body to rest. When you do race, you'll be fully recovered.

No, it isn't. It doesn't mean anything, it is a coincidence. The vaccine is helping to save lives. But it doesn't just randomly make some people run faster for a few days.

I'm sure this post is a joke, but just saying I received my flu shot and Mederna booster on the same day. It knocked the stuffin out of me had no energy for four days before I finally felt like running.

OP here. Race was 7 weeks after my booster. I’m sure it wasn’t the booster. But I’m sure the booster didn’t harm me either like some dumb@s here think

My bald spot has filled in since I got the Moderna Vaxx. I'll take any boosters they'll give me!
