I’m on schedule to complete the training plan the week of my outdoor track state meet. Some of these workouts (throughout phases 2-4) look harder than anything I’ve ever done before; hopefully that will be helpful. Is this a good plan? Anything you would tweak? Just looking for any advice as I don’t have a coach. Thanks!
Additional info: this is my 3rd year of running regularly. Finished the xc season with a 5k PR of 16:27 at runninglane. Peaked at 75mpw over the summer with a few other 70mi weeks. Mileage hasn’t been so great recently with all the tapering, but I’m building back up now. Hit 52 last week and planning to go a bit over 60 in phase 2 then level out at 60 for phase 3. Junior in HS. 4:46 1600 PR last track season - looking to break 4:27 1600 and 9:47 3200 this outdoor season (school records).
