Title says it all. I predict 2:45 with a negative split.

Sub 2:45 is not going to happen. He hasn't done a sub 3 hour marathon officially yet.
And doing Rocky Raccoon 100 before that doesn't make any sense.
But of course he is just selling overpriced powder.
That's his main business model.
Would be impressive if he crushed 24 beers amd 5 burritos the same night. Otherwise, not impressive.

I usually agree with you Steve, especially on the China Virus. But I have to disagree on this subject. Nick is absolutely yoked and is the head guy of a 7 figure per year business. Him crushing a sub 2:50 is a lot more impressive than an ex D1 runner in a cubical.

Steriods are a helluva drug
PR is 3:24:20 at the 2020 Austin Marathon
His minions will eat up anything. If he said his goal was to break the world record in the spring they would believe him.
Don't know who is the bigger loser in running right now, Houlihan or this nobody.
I only just learned of this guy. He seems to be okay, not too off putting.
I watched a video of him running sub-3. Is that a spurious result?
Also, I love Houlihan. She’s is a fierce racer, and the sport is worse without her running.
Most anybody with only a dash of talent can train themselves to run a 2:50.

It doesn’t matter if he takes steroids or not (he doesn’t btw) it’s the fact that he can carry that kind of mass at a running clip that fast
He broke 3 hours I thought or was that a time trial thing?

2:50 really is not a big deal. If this guy breaks 2:35 carry all that weight, that is something. Also Bare has a distance running background be he juiced up his body. This isn't like Rock running 2:50.

I don't know who this guy is other than noticing that he is regularly a subject of threads on here.
It seems like he is a guy who started running semi-seriously later in adulthood like many of us and has had about the typical progression that us average adult runners that train consistently for a few years generally achieve.
I thought I remembered seeing that he had a better result than ~3:24 sometime in the months to a year ago time range.

That was his own time trail thingy. I am sure the course was super accurately measured.
He claims he did. Doesn't count unless it's official.
He's not natural. Not even close.

Anyone who thinks he's natty is just very ignorant about muscle building and the amount of lean mass someone can carry without steroids. Coach Greg said there's a 99.5% chance he's not natty but he's just being nice...it's actually 100%.
I’ve pointed this out before, but there are much more impressive athletes than Nick at this whole “hybrid athlete” category that is increasingly more popular to follow.
You’ve got David Magida, who just ran 2:37 at 195lb in NYC, and followed it up with a 475# deadlift a day or two later for a virtual competition.
You’ve got Hunter McIntyre, who has continually dominated these hybrid events for the last few years.
If you follow OCR stuff you may have heard of Rich Ryan, who can pull over 405 for a DL and just dropped sub-15 for 3mi a few weeks back. He is probably the fastest of the current crop.
Yeah. Good luck to the Big Man! He seems to have all his bases covered. Sub 2:50m will be a big challenge for a bloke this size. But hey if he's done the work, anything is possible, and I hope he does it.
He suk
