My next holiday is end of this year for two weeks and I plan to train twice a day in this timeframe.
I have no race in the next month, so plenty of possibilities.
The plan is to do 6 double days/week (training twice a day) with one rest day/week. This 2 weeks long.
At the end of the holiday I will continue to train for 6 days/week (one unit), with around 7-8h weekly (70-80km/week).
Lately i run 05:52 for 1600m and i am interested in 5k, 10k and also shorter trail races (something like 10-20km long, around 300-600 height meters). I am 49yo, so the regeneration time is something to consider.
What duration and units would you recommend for this 2 weeks holiday?
What is your experience with such a short time twice a day training period and doing that in general?
