She’s a gamer
And she did it without shouting expletives. Kudos.
Molly - fastest American women on the NYC Marathon course.
Apparently she broke two ribs last month and only now mentioned it. She has an above and beyond pain threshold.

um, ever heard of Jorsan Hasay?
No
Great race for Molly without an ideal build up, she will threaten 2:20 next year on a fast London, or Berlin type course. However she may run the WC in Eugene where the weather could be a factor, so maybe only a Spring Marathon and then the WC Marathon?
who had the previous american record on the course, and what was the time?

lmao
Another great run by Molly…
Has anyone else noticed that for some reason she refuses to draft off other runners? I noticed in Sapporo and then again today. If she would only sit back in the pack, she’d be able to go with the African s when they surge. As it is, they enjoy her courtesy pacing.

...back in the real world:
What's the deal on her "less than ideal build up"?
Did she really break two ribs? When? How?
