What times are you hitting in your workouts as of recent?

What training experience do you have? How is your coach? Maybe listen to him or her?
Bigtime maybe. All you can do in 3-4 weeks is keep doing what you've been doing and taper so that you're fresh on race day. Maybe you can break 17 in 3-4 weeks if you're already on a good progressive path in your first season, but there is nothing more you can do in 3-4 weeks.
Long term (if your race was further in the future), you can run more. That will get you under 17 eventually no matter what.

Looks like your time has dropped as you have become more comfortable with the distance. You should get faster at it quickly. Keep it up. Good luck tomorrow.
