What about Thatcher?
Hah, good one.

there are far more interesting things in that video like his shoe log - which is basically a fairly even weighted alphafly, zoomfly, and next, with the occasional peg 37s and react? (guessing like infinity react) and it's from this summer.
He's talking about what his sleep tracker says. If I'm in bed for 8 hours I only get ~6 hours of restful sleep.
He has to keep one eye open in case the men in the lab coats ring the bell……

Kipchoge does quite a bit on the complex. You should read some articles on him 😉.
But yes, he also naps every day.
The potato reference completely went over you. You also couldn’t comprehend the mowing lawns reference. It’s like you have to talk to the people here likes it’s a pbs kids special. You’re trying to equate promo work and house chores to landscaping in Southern California.
Bet, any books you recommend?
I’ll bet you haven’t read a book in your life. Why so defensive? And the “photo tap farm” reference went completely over my head too. As one of our podium finisher illiterates, don’t throw stones.
seems pretty nonsensical that you would forget to mention you have 5 hour naps every day imo
Personally I only count effectice sleep. So, if I go to bed 10:00, falls asleep 10:30 and wakes up 6:30, I count this as 8 hours sleep.

I'd buy Kipchoge tea.

Yep. They also nap a lot. Kipchoge doesn’t have a photo tap farm so he has lots of time to rest. C’mon. He’s a millionaire in Kenya. I doubt he has much responsibilities. He’s not mowing lawns between sessions.
He's a millionaire anywhere. Do you have any idea of the prize money and sponsorships he is on? Just the sub 2 probably netted him a million dollars alone.
Wow, so many false/ignorant posts regarding sleep here lol. I highly recommend you all read Why We Sleep by Dr. Matthew Walker. It’ll change your life and your false bro science opinions/assumptions about sleep.

Eliud says he gets around 6 - 7 hours of sleep a night - usually 6 hours.
How the F is he training at that level and recovering with such little sleep! Rupp gets like 12 hours a night and still gets his ass whooped by Kipchoge.
Boss
He micronaps during his runs. At 160 mpw, he runs over 20 miles a day and most of it easy, so he has plenty of time to micronap on autopilot. Then he comes back and powernaps some more. Then he occasionally mops the floor for a photo-op, eats tons of ugali, and then sleeps again in the night.

Recovery is not Exclusive to sleep at night.
Sleep(at night) is simply one of many components of recovery including but not limited to:
Environment, Mental state of health,
Physical state of health, Relaxing, Sex, Napping, Active recovery exercises, Nutrition, Genetics, Ect...

OR you know, after 1000+ low-brow potato comments we've collectively decided to just ignore them (and you).

Ah yes, he compensates for a lack of sleep with an abundance of recovery-sex.
He’s certainly not gonna lose any sleep over Bekele’s race in Berlin.
Built Different
So, do we know why Kipchoge came to Berlin? They paid him to come watch? I didn’t see any photo-ops of him watching and don’t know how it would help sponsors.

LOL
He's doing well drinking black tea before bed and getting any sleep. Man likes his caffeine.
He probably just wanted to watch the race lol I think his appearance is being blown way out of proportion
Kipchoge probably sleeps more than any human being in existence and nothing he says will convince me otherwise.
