Sheesh. Kinda a harsh take. I never thought the WR was going to be threatened but I certainly "hoped" he would come close. The magic he has conjured in the 400h has certainly made this years track season enjoyable. I'd like to think most people who were interested knew a WR was highly unlikely, but still hoped it was possible. I am disappointed because I was certain he would run under 45 and thought he could go sub 44.
I doubt there are many people who were adamant that the 400 WR was going down.
