What does that workout show I can run for 8k? Same course, same shoes, same weather, etc.

The 2:00 rest makes this difficult to use as a predictor. If you did it with 1 min rest I'd say you should be able to go sub 25 for 8k. With 2 min rest I'd say sub 26 is likely.
If you are new to 8k xc, do not go out in 4:45 for the first mile. That's a good way to end up with a very painful 26:25 debut. Go for 5:05-5:10 at the mile and see what you can do from there.

26:25 is painful indeed.
Sub 26 is the way to go.

Solo or in a group?
Caffeine?
7-8/10 or 10/10 effort?
Better at speed or aerobic strength?
In a group, no caffeine, 9/10 effort. Big strength guy (100mpw, 800 pr only 2:07)

200mg of caffeine pre-race, roughly even pacing at 5:01-5:08 each mile and you go ~25:05-25:18. After a few races, sub 25 if you hit a good day.
