What’s with the new last name?
Coached an Ethiopian to silver for Bahrain. Bahrain is not a force for good in the sport. At any given moment, they have scouts in East Africa looking for young kids to recruit. Where's the pride in that?

How on earth has he not been banned from the sport yet after all the scandals all the drug busts he is still allowed to walk around and coach whoever he wants and do whatever he wants. This still baffles my mind

In order to ban a coach, you need evidence and a finding of a rule violation.
Two possibilities (maybe more): either the WA/AIU/(IAAF) is waiting for the Spanish trial to finish, possibly for more evidence, or they did not have enough evidence of a rule violation, despite "all the scandals all the drug busts".

This is correct. The only alternative to get a coach banned is to get the NYT to do a dramatic video saying that some people don't like the way he talks to them, then he'll be BANNED FOR LIFE

she isn't a nobody by any stretch....a top junior runner who won multiple medals. injured for a long stretch and back healthy. yes, she's training with a known drug cheat, that being said she's had this talent level for quite sometime

Two more possibilities:
1) A (now expired) silent four year ban, as the AIU for example also gave to drug cheat Houlihan (but Aden accepted the ban rather than going to CAS).
2) A deal behind closed doors like in the good old IAAF times, example Shobukhova.

With so little “real” information about Aden in the last 5 years, I won’t say anything is impossible.
But I’m not convinced that “silent bans” are something real.
In cases like Houlihan’s, it is customary, and recommended, to keep news of any suspension or investigation quiet until a guilty verdict is reached.
The potential damage to reputations is irreversible for innocent athletes — something Houlihan would be if the CAS appeal had succeeded — e.g. ruled that the AAF was properly an ATF.
Shobukhova got a reduced ban for cooperating with a bigger investigation, something allowed within WADA rules, and something encouraged by ADAs and ADOs, as valuable for gathering intelligence otherwise not possible. In that context, it’s hard to see what deal Aden could strike.
