She posted on her Instagram that she’s been undergoing medical tests and the doctors have no idea what is wrong with her.
She said she feels more lost than ever.
What is going on?!?

Nerve damage in leg most likely. Possibly similar to Josh McDougal.

Why "under the table"? It seems to me that WADA wants to catch cheats and hold them up as an example to deter others. I don't get the logic of, "You are banned but, we'll let you claim injury or illness until the ban expires."

Nike.

Under the table doping ban perhaps. Maybe not but it ain't out of the realm of possibilities amd seems logical. Evan Jager may be on one too he was likely doping in Fancy Bears leak. BTC is shady.
lol no, they wouldn't sweep under the rug for an athlete like her. Maybe a Usain Bolt, but even then. She doesn't even run for BTC anymore.

This theory hasn’t held water since Colleen left Nike. If WADA could throw an Olympian under the bus without worrying about backlash from Nike (see: Houlihan’s quasi-ban), they’d do it in a heartbeat.
Occam’s Razor: Colleen is dealing with some nerve pain that’s been difficult to diagnose, exactly as she says.
I honestly think Quigley will never be the same. She’s been in an injury cycle forever, has left an intense training environment and the gap between her and the new crop of American steeplers is almost nonexistent.
I could see her sneaking on to a team in the future if she gets physical things worked out, but unlikely if she doesn’t do it in the next year or so. Leah Falland has made a great comeback, but I think Leah has leveled up in her training situation and Colleen has leveled down. Then you have Val who has run 6 seconds of Quigley’s PR, is younger and not currently sponsored. And all of the college girls who’ve seemed to step it up.
I find her hard to root for as she is as cocky as someone who has the accolades of coburn/freichs, but has no where near reached their level. I do applaud her for taking a hold of being an influencer because that has high stakes at the moment. I shouldn’t tie people to their performances, but she makes such a big deal about how good she is, that it kinda irks me when she is dropping out of championships and that there are rumors flying around that she got dropped by her agent and wasn’t getting paid to her “worth”. I’m sorry, but don’t you have to compete in order to get paid to run??
But she is so darn cute.
Colleen has spoken on the agent situation herself. She didn’t think her existing agent was bringing her much value.
I’m not sure who she was with, but lots of track agents really are sharks who value their relationships with the shoe brands over their relationships with their clients.
Many agents function simply as a funnel to particular brands or training groups. Go look up who “represents” BTC’s athletes and it’ll become clear that they’re actually just representing BTC.
I was meh on Quigley, but when in her big Lululemon announcement interview with Citius she said "I am a two time Olympian" then corrected herself to say "I have made one Olympic team and pretty much made a second" I found it incredibly hard to root for her. It just screamed tempting fate to me, given how well other women steeplers were coming on at the time. It gave a real sense of entitlement. All the shade thrown at Nike/Schumacher indirectly since (and how it has dried up) makes me think she probably didn't realize how good she had it having world class training partners and a sponsor who spent tens of thousands putting up a team in expensive training situations (Park City).
She is supremely talented, but I also would not be surprised if she never made another team.
The Citius interview didn’t age well, but it’s worth clarifying that the interview took place in December 2020 while Colleen claims the issue started in March 2021.
I can’t hold it against anyone who was turned off by her statement, but wanted to clarify for folks who didn’t listen.
100% she got popped on Nike's internal testing.
She should move to the roads honestly. She would be much more visible to the hobby jogger nation.
If anything, she should move DOWN in distance.
She’s clearly struggled with high-mileage training and has a national championship in the mile.
With Houlihan out of the picture, there’s a clearer path to global teams relative to injury potential in the mile/1500 than the steeple.

I agree with this. She's done pretty well in the 1500/mile.
And yeah, results don't really matter for an influencer, but if you aren't running and competing, then why do we care? Honestly.
She wants to take pictures of herself and sling products on social media. Can't blame her considering anyone attractive is in the same game but she needs to drop the cocky attitude (as someone mentioned above).
I find her very attractive. Perhaps one of the few things me and the creep in chief agree on. Speed goggles are real.
I get notices from her and several other endurance athletes on Facebook pushing a chocolate type of drink that is a sleep aid. I have not ordered it, but she makes an eye-catching spokesperson as I have clicked through the ad. She could have a career doing things like this without even running a step.
She’s a woke and irrelevant has-been, that’s what’s up.
