I was very nervous before the race as I was expecting to lose, the whole race when it started seemed very calm almost like a jog obviously I wasn't jogging. In the last few yards, I remembered that it's not about trying to run faster rather it is to maintain or vastly slow down the rate of speed going down from all the youtube videos I watched made me do this. But here is my question when I finished the race it felt like I jogged for like 20 yards at a slow pace. Normally I have my hands on my knees bent over so out of breath but today. It was very bizarre for me I was not out of breath felt so fresh after the race was so bizarre. I had my statsport tracker I reached a max speed of 32.09kmph. I tried to google about not being fatigued/tired/out of breath after a race. No results come up. Btw I am not boasting or anything I'm asking because I am so bad with my sprinting endurance I find it quite difficult in football/soccer, I'm always out of breath. So I thought I'd ask on this forum Why was I so not out of breath?
