What can we learn from Hobbs Kessler's amazing progress in only 4 years? I understand that his parents are running coaches and that he was lucky enough to connect with Ron Warhurst and Nick Willis early on, but it is still astounding that he was able to go sub-5 to sub-4 in just a few years when many struggle to do this over the course of an entire running career. He works incredibly hard and definitely deserves all the credit in the world, but it just seems like it happened so fast and I don't understand it, especially after watching his instagram video from 2018 where he looks like a complete novice.
Does he just have a talent that few possess or is there something about his journey that we can all learn from?
