Fitting, congrats!
By 2028 they'll have to add hot dog eating to ensure a gold for the great country of America
23.30m, second longest throw in history
all six of his throws are over the OR
This has to be one of the best T&F performances in the meet.
2 THE GILLS!!!

Since we suck on the track.
Every single throw over 22 meters. Every throw over the old OR.
Only one of his throws wasn't a gold medal throw; but his worst throw could have won him the silver.
Finished off with the 2nd farthest throw ever, second only to his own WR.
Dominant!!!
Excellent throwing, Ryan and Joe.! The big fellas taking care of business.
No doping accusations?
Isn’t that what we do when an athlete is way better than the competition?

But according to Michelle Carter, that first throw might not count because his hat fell off.
And this is the actual event she participates in!
Crouser was awesome.
Naw....It is only when they come out of nowhere or have huge improvements....and not in field events that require form and technique...no one accuses Mondo of cheating, no one accuses Crouser of cheating.

While Crouser was the Rio men's gold medalist, she was the women's olympic champion, understandable that she isn't familiar with the rules!
I bet they will discuss it on his upcoming appearance on this Peacock morning show, but does Crouser have any NFL aspirations?
I don't know. I used to think big strong and explosive athletes like Crouser could play NFL but I have been told the linemen have many nuanced skills that are developed over years of high level HS, NCAA, and NFL experience. The NFL big men are great athletes and they make a tough role look easy. Crouser is an outlier though so who knows.
She wasn't far off in saying that, but they recently changed the rule. The rule used to be that any clothing, including hats, had to stay in the circle or it would be a foul. The rule was changed in the last year or two, after she stopped throwing. People still think that you should get off the high jump mat before the bar falls off. No longer the rule.

He’s American, therefore beyond/immune from doping accusations.
But seriously… peds should help in shotputting where strength and explosive power are premium…
If a skinny female distance runner is willing to use nanodrolene , a body builder steroid, you’d think a shot putter who weighs north of 360 pounds and is 6’8 isn’t going to use something “extra”?
Mr crouser is a walking pharmaceutical.
