What is interesting and nice about De Grasse is that he looks like an ordinary guy right down to his body shape which is of course quite athletic but in no way glaringly so. He has well-defined muscles but he’s definitely not huge and that also goes for the kid from the USA who finished fourth in the race who has a similar type of physique.
Go Canada.
Back in Canada now his life is set. He’ll never be poor. So many options including media and other options.

Lyles isn’t as bad as a lot of them. He just has a goofy personality. He’s not nearly as arrogant as a lot of the Americans.
Yes Andre!!!!! Congrats.
So well deserved
He was arrogant enough to showboat in the semis, which gave him a bad lane and likely cost him the gold.

Another self-hating American. Sad. Very sad.

Of course he did. He just had to indulge in the time honored tradition of "shutting it down", just to show
everybody how fast he really could have run if he didn't.
Guess it didn't impress DeGrasse all that much, who ran like a demon in his semi and basically let everybody know
that he came to win, and he did.
He might live in the US but he can be seen on every other commercial in Canada during the Olympics already.
Discovered when he ran a 10.9 with a standing start in borrowed spikes. Originally played basketball.
It's in his genes, his mother is from Trinidad and is father is from Barbados.
