The indicator workout was suppose to be as follows:
1000m @RacePace (5min) 600m @RacePace (3min) 400m @Race Pace.
Add all splits, divide by 20 and multiply by 15 for a rough estimate.
I went in with the hope of running 64second laps, but instead of taking 5min and 3min recovery I took 3min and 1min.
Splits as follows:
1000m (2.48) - (3.5min rest) - 600 (1.38) - (1min rest) - 400m (63)
What are we thinking? I'd love to say Sub4 but I don't think the aerobic fitness is there (hence the slow k). 4.05?
