It's HOT as hell today. Much sunnier than past days. We were late leaving the hotel so had to walk/jog over here 1.19 miles at 16 minute pace and am drenched in sweat.
Top3 and next 6 is absurd.It should be top 4 and next 3. I'd rather just see top 5.

Agreed. This is terrible. Did they broadcast the first heat of the women's steeplechase? It's been volleyball for the past half hour.

Except for the top 3, the first heat looked like a death march. Tough conditions.

Top 5 with no time qualifiers puts way too much emphasis (weight?) on making each heat as 'even' as possible. How many times have we commented on one heat being way tougher than the others? I'd back a Top 4 and 3 format though. Emma through with a 9:16 on a v hot (again) humid morning.

-Rojo consider some more exercise, maybe. 16 min mile walk should be pretty easy.
emma coburn did not look good out there today. there is much cause for concern in the final.
