Not surprising at all. I don't know why people keep thinking she's going to be anything but an also-ran at the world level. She's only "good" for an American.

She has a world bronze medal you DA
she's not exactly in the form of her life, no? too bad, I like her, but seemed like she just doesn't have enough atm
Caught doping before lest we forget. Good riddance.

Not so good without her special sauce is she?

Maybe she turned vegan now.
been following her since her high school days. I always sort of felt that every race she runs was just like the last one she ran. no real good races and no real bad races, but always sit back and kick the last 100.
It kind of caught up with her. There's a lot of athletes that should be considering going into retirement after this year. Ajee, Sage Watson, Robbie Andrews and the list goes on.
Sowinski is making a great living off of pacing. I imagine that Wilson would be a great pacer for 800 of 1500.

She really hasn't been the same since she got let off the hook for the tainted meat has she? Hasn't really sniffed that American record since.
It is not uncommon for 800m athletes to age out by their late twenties. It could be that simple. If A Wilson had a bad race yesterday and she has not aged out, next Olympics only three years away.
I feel like Ajee wasted a lot of good races against the likes of Niyonsaba, Semenya and Wambui. Just bad timing that she had to race in the era.
What’s interesting is that Ajee was present at Athing Mu’s first ever junior development league race. She had just completed a practice that morning and came to the meet with her coach to see his other athletes compete. She didn’t realize that the little girl from Trenton racing in sweatpants (in May) while running in lane 3 the entire 1500m race would be the girl that she’d pass the US 800m torch to just under a decade later.
