Accidentally dropped baton - stupid rule
Love how the NBC coverage just cut out while they were about to talk about the DQ
Why?
Just keeping up the American tradition of getting DQ'ed in relays. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with our relay system?

Was it after the finish? I saw the anchor bend over and pick it up, or so I though.
At the first exchange it looked like the USA forgot to put a second leg on the track. Maybe she went to the wrong mark?
We are the Worst Of All Time in any relay. Will always find a way to screw up handoffs.

24.19 started running before zone
how stupid do you have to be to blow that???
Spanish TV reporting that Dominican Republic also DQed so Spain team makes the final.

I'd say the 3 turn stagger got them, but they all should have experience with that, no?
outside of dual meets, every 4x4 I have ever coached in has had a 3 turn stagger.
How the hell do you even screw up a 4x400 handoff? High school kids can do that no problem without even practicing.
did anyone hear the announcer refer to the middle exchange as “handing off to her double barreled compatriot”?
i hope i heard it wrong lmao

Brain cramp or never ran 2nd leg before?
Way out of the zone. Not even close.
what an incredibly awkward interview with Lyanna Irby, rubbing her nose in her mistake as if she's a child. totally unnecessary and degrading.
She didn't even start in the zone. Was clearly standing in the wrong spot. Dumb.
Unbelievable! The US runner lined up OUTSIDE the zone. She was never in the zone. The arrow points to the END of the US zone.
