I run barefoot on grass quite a f***ing bit these days because it's the only way I avoid shin splints. However, I went for a 1 mile barefoot run on the road the other day and, although it didn't hurt my plantar surface, the pounding really got to me. My subtalar joints hurt afterward. Is it possible to run substantial mileage on concrete/asphalt barefoot? Oh and please don't show me that Ken Saxton bulls***, he is such a loon
