everyone that's ever tested positive for doping has always claimed it was an "innocent mistake"
no reason to believe any of them. I've never accidently ingested any performance enhancing drugs.

I don't know the effect of this drug, but he even admitted to take it regularly. That alone is a big red flag.
And that he just took this stimulant after competition and not before, he can tell his grandmother and 'ghost', these are the only two people believing him.
In my opinion this long time doper accepts the ban more or less silently for not to damage his career achievements, and maybe being able to compete again next year to have some some two or three years left. In the 2024 olympics he won't be much too old at 35 to participate and maybe advance to the semi finals, so the best idea for him now, don't stirr up any more dust...

You have no idea if you have never taken banned drugs; have you?

Long time doper? Any evidence or indication of that in a long and illustrious career spanning 10 years and he’s never been worried until now or talked about in that regard?
He’s a doctor and he has access to many pharmaceuticals and one assumes he would know which ones were legal or not and he would make full use of pharmaceuticals which are allowed and which might help him to recover or avoid injury which would indicate that he would not need to resort to short time or temporary illegal Peds.
In Switzerland, he’s a household name and no one has a bad word to say about the muscular hurdles champion., who always make sure he fulfills his Islamic obligations with dedication.
For those reasons and others it would be difficult to tag him as a possible doper.

Even grandma has more common sense than that!
This drug is definately a PED if taken prior to competing. Many a mountaineer would tell you this.
Unless this gentleman is an incompetent doctor he would know this. He admits to using it regularly and very clearly took the drug to give himself a competitive edge. You don't know this man Ghost so why do you make statements about his character?
Have you checked whether no one has a bad word to say about him? What if I say many in Swiss track dislike him? You honestly wouldn't have a clue.
You continually argue the innocence of those convicted of doping (seemingly only those with Islamic connections). WHY?
We are trying to stop doping not encourage it.
You make some good points.
I was making a general assumption based on his Instagram posts and the followers who leave messages there. If I’m wrong, I stand corrected and may karma do its work.
In this article the Swiss Olympic committee stand by him and it also mentions he is well liked and appreciated by the Swiss public in general and scroll down towards the end of the article. They call him a “charismatic” and well liked athlete.
Quote from the article. “ Swiss Olympic, which therefore did not hesitate to sanction one of its most famous and charismatic athletes a few hours before the opening ceremony, finally took the opportunity to stress that "the control system in Switzerland works", even if "prevention is, and remains, the most important approach, in collaboration with Antidoping Switzerland and the member federations, in order to prevent such cases from recurring in the future."
One can assume he is well liked because having charisma and being well like to go hand-in-hand in general. You might argue that Trump also has charisma and is not necessarily well liked, by all, but he’s an outlier.
Typo: “ having charisma and being well like to ”
Correct: “ having charisma and being well liked“:
