His last 200m in his 1’43 race looked like a video game.
It does not help running. Come on letsrun . Tells us why it does count. Oh he’s not American. Never mind.

You do have to wonder, if someone is willing to take cocaine, what else might they be willing to take?

A burrito up the tailpipe cannot be ruled out.
It's Sha'Carri Richardson again.
Or maybe more like Shawn Barber the Canadian Pole Vaulter...
Cocaine has genuinely performance enhancing aspects for the sprints such as improved reaction times. In the 800m it is not going to give any advantage.
He definitely used it recreationally. Very stupid decision, especially before the Olympics.
Poor Coevett. The only white guy that could make the British 800m team had to take an illegal stimulant to do so.
where is AOC?
He needs to find a food truck that sells burritos with authentic Colombian monkey meat fast. As far as cocaine not being a PED, just watch Maradona highlights or read about the old days of the Tour de France. It’s a stimulant.
yeah I agree but dont think he was using it as one but you do have to treat it as if he was just a dumb choice
What an idiot. He has to be banned. You can't ban Richardson and let this guy skate. The French hate the British anyway so they'll give him the maximum penalty
Wait what? How is this cheat not banned from the Olympics?
Jonathon Gault and Rojo are going to rant about this in the podcast, excusing the taking of drugs.

would love to see someone suggest cocaine is a "masking agent"

Cocaine is an actually dangerous substance unlike Richardson's marijuana use. This is troubling unless he has trace amounts because it showed up in a milder street drug inadvertently. That would still be bad, but at least it would be better than a 20-year-old with a coke habit.

Caffeine is a stimulant. So what? The anti-PED campaign has to focus on actual career-making performance enhancements, rather than schoolmarm rule baiting and switching.
Now they are making fools of themselves by silly pursuit of trace elements of irrelevant drugs.
Most of the charges are extremely debatable--marijuana, traces of cocaine, various medicines useful for muscle repair, inattention to testing schedules, microdosing this and that.
Chasing down incidental drug use among athletes is not worth the trouble. It's enough to test the winners after races for major violations. And to prohibit transsex. Semenya can run as a guy or forget it.
If they can't stop transex, their pot-pettifoggery is pathetic.

Sorry, man, but that's such a boomer view on drugs. Cocaine is no more dangerous than weed. Tbh, I've never known anyone have any issues taking cocaine (other than heightening how annoying they are) but I do know someone who suffers from cannabis-induced psychosis and has had to be institutionalized. So, you know, don't tell me weed is harmless. They're both recreational drugs, they both deserve a ban
