Who ya got??
Who ya got??
There's pretty much no way Jakob loses. Give it a few years, though, and it will be interesting
Hocker in a laugher
Hocker don't have the endurance and it will be a long way to get it.
Don't forget there are other class runners from Africa.

Braindead the US arent medalling Norway, Britain and Australia are all already far better than them this year
Hocker kicks down Ingebrigtsen in the last 100m easily to win his first round race.
Hocker narrowly misses out on finals, Ingebrigtsen wins gold.
90% chance Jakob wins. If Hocker is near him with a 100 to go he can probably run him down.
The Bislett Games are next weekend, Ingebrittsen's home turf. Doesn't Hocker need a qualifier? Sounds like the place to settle both questions.
It's not even close. Jakob runs 3:28 and Hocker can't even run the standard.
What planet are you guys on?
Hocker has a chance in a kicker's race but even without Cheriyout the 1500 could be fast. Jakob may see this race and decide to run a sub 3:30 in the Olympic final. Hocker is good but I'm not sure if he is that good.
Gotta give the edge to Jakob with a far superior PB and significantly more international experience. But Cole looked like a hungry beast tonight. Would be great if he could nail a 3:32 or 3:31 in the next three weeks, perhaps at Bislett.
If Jakob is in the same heat as Hocker he will withdraw from fear.
You heard it here first.

I am curious how Hocker will do in a faster race - say 2:50. He has never been in that race so we do not know.

Okay how about this way...
59.xx @400m
2.01.xx @800m
2.56.xx @1200m
25.5 last 200m
Because Jakob doesn't beat Hocker in that type of race. So that was quite simple.
What about the three guys that beat Timothy Cheruiyot.

Its a Mile they would need a Timer at 1500, It has been done before though, Hocker would have to sprint to the 1500 mark, if he gets it he can jog or even walk the last about 100 meters to the Mile Finish and make it.

The problem there is Jakob closed his last 200 in 27 when he ran 12:48 for 5000. And that was running 61 second laps for the 2nd part of that race.
Aren't they the same age? Except one is a proven world class runner and the other isn't.
You can't reason with these delusional clowns. Jakob is on a completely different plane that hocker. The difference of 7 seconds in 1500 is a massive difference. I think Hocker will struggle to even make the final.
