Did u all see Fred Kerley peak at about the 180m mark. When he peaked he lost some of his rythym.... then he lost his apot. Congrats to Erriyon Knighton.

It's hard to finish top three from the inside lane. He ran great in the finals. If he had run better in the semis, he would have been able to select a better lane.
Fred lost his spot when he ran a crappy semifinal to earn lane 2.
Yeah. All that advice about peaking for a big race never made any sense to me either.
I agree with that assessment with Fred Kerley and his semifinal race. Gotta run the semis like a final. He didnt, got a bad lane and failed to make the 200m team.
I rewatched the race and about at 180m mark he appeared to be grimacing considering that he runs 400s, it definitely wasn't from the race. I've been hearing that he has some problems with his foot I wonder if he aggravated an injury.

Peaked? Peaked, sprcoach?
Let me tell you something, I haven't even begun to peak. And when I do peak, you'll know. Because I'm gonna peak so hard that everybody in Philadelphia's gonna feel it.
