Ofa Lon Teh 🤔
The ones who do well on Saturday are the ones who are good in the heat.
The ones who eat the pork meat are the ones who are good in the heat!
Sisson is probably screwed, she lives in the north east. what is the forecasted temperature at race time?
Um, Sisson lives and trains in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
She lives in Phoenix.
As a heavier runner (I ran at 180 lbs), I know from experience that the heavier runners absolutely DIE in the heat. Anybody with thicker legs is in trouble too. It's a lot harder to dissipate lactic acid when a lot of your blood needs to get to your skin. I would think this hurt Cranny (thicker legs) and Monson (5'7"). Schweizer and Sisson are tiny and should be fine so long as they are acclimated appropriately.
Ryan says Sara Hall runs hot and always likes cooler weather. But I bet she's been training to make up for Atlanta. Last chance and all.
Marielle Hall - highest 10k finisher in Doha (hot AF) at the world champs beating Sisson & Huddle.

+1
Having a tall and muscular built makes running in the heat much more changeling even if the person is very lean. As a female, I am a somewhat taller and muscular runner at 5'6.5" and 125 lbs and am the worst heat runner of any one I know. I have the tendency to generate a ton of heat when I exercise and sweat excessively(sweat rate of 2.4 L/hour). I could not imagine myself racing a 10K on the track in 80 F without drinking fluids during the race. If no fluids are indigested during the race, the weather would absolutely destroy people who sweat a ton due to dehydration.
I don't know their history of running in heat but Sisson trains in Phoenix so she should be well acclimatized. My bet is on her making the team. She has shown such great fitness recently as well.
You might consider editing the subject.
I think Kelati will do well in the heat.
It will be 80 degrees at the start. It will be hot, but not 105 degrees hot.
Historicall you are not good in writing.
