Shelby Houlihan has apparently just gotten some kind of legal injunction that will allow her to compete in the Olympic Trials in the 1500 on Friday afternoon.
Earlier today she was listed as a scratch, but now she's listed as the 11th runner in the 3rd heat of the 1500.
What happens if she finishes in the top 3 in the final and "makes" the Olympic team? USATF won't be able to kick Houlihan off the team because of the decision of the US court, but they also won't be allowed to submit Houlihan's name to World Athletics/IOC as an Olympic competitor because of the decision of the international court.
How do you think this will eventually get resolved?
