What kind of flats is he wearing?
What kind of flats is he wearing?
ones that were made for him specifically. they are sized to the 1/4 size.
cubatos
Ones that were not good enough to prevent him from getting his ass whipped by the dude looking over his shoulder.
They make him look like he's pidgeon-toed. I guess that better than looking camel-toed... ;)

get your facts right buttshave Paul Tergat beat Hailee in that race ..
You read it wrong, you arrogant moron.

Thanks for covering my back, Forey. Nothing derogatory against Haile or anything, but Tergat (the dude looking over his shoulder) did whup his but that race.
you know Tergat did finish in front of Geb in Geb's debut marathon. But recall- it took Tergat many tries before he reached a truely elite level in the marathon(he was stuck at 2:08's until he popped one). Geb on the other hand runs his debut a couple of minutes faster than Tergat's debut. My two cents.
lOLOLOLOL......
god i love it, only here...
stuck at the sub-"elite level", of runing 2:08 marathons...
MAn...i wish i could be that "sub-elite"..
Luckily, Gez Abera dipped under 2:08 in his last marathon, because he had only been Olympic and World champion before...
They look a little like the old Concerto, but notice the funny laces to the side of the instep....
Adidas, apparently.
Khannouchi beat them both wearing the New Balance 250 which is basically a flip flop with a running shoe top. It ain't all about the shoes.
Haile: Custom Cubatos
Tergat: K4 Racer
Khalid: RC205WR
Adidas.
hey trackhead, apparently Tergat doesn't have the same fear and loathing you have for shoes with a much higher heel than forefoot.

Tergat's in the Fila Racer K4, not sure about Haile's racers (i.e. not sure if they are Cubatos or what) but I do know that Geb wasn't the only person to get them and that they weren't widely available (or even at all) in the US. The bottom line is this: don't count on getting a pair for yourself.
I'm not trying to just prop up Trackhead, but have you noticed that recently over the last few years that when Tergat pulls out of a race because of an injury, it is usually a calf pull or something relating to the lower leg, which leads me to believe he could be better served in a lower heeled shoe.

Hey, I think I see a nipple slip....
I could care less about the shoes.
