Idk about kiplimo but Jake Smith changed allegiance to England which is harder to make teams than wales or Bermuda. Doesn’t seem motivated by it being easier to make teams.
Not that I condemn pappas or parsons. Its possible I might do the same in their shoes. I also try to maximise how much money I make in my job.

The golf cart rumor was true - it was in a Flotrack house tour or something. Was real cringe back then too.

I wouldn't start the race if I couldn't finish it. If he was so injured that he quits the race he shouldn't have started (that's where a good coach or advisor would step in). Or maybe he should have just toughed it out for 5 more minutes.

Surely there was a good reason for the golf cart. Rehabbing from injury maybe?
To be quite honest, watching the race, it looks like he just got dropped by that Muhamed guy. That guy ran a 2:32 last km, and I'm not sure if Parsons was in that kind of shape.
How does German selection work for Tokyo? Do you have to win? Top 3? Someone with more knowledge please clarify.
