Because they are fun to run in..... are you an elite runner?? Who cares, just run in what is fun. I am sick of this stupid rhetoric.

what's the point in complaining? you're literally like the last one. This tells me either you're poor or just slow, tried them and are still slow. Both?

What OP said is true, but that doesn't make it cheating. It's simply athletes in high stakes races using the best available technology.

All the hobby joggers on this forum that buy the shoes? Just a bunch of posers with too much money or are too easily targeted by ads. They don't really need to save 30 seconds on a 5k.

The only issue with the shoes is that they run counter to the concept that running is by definition a minimalist sport, but that's a separate issue than the performance effects.
