800m will be interesting - Amos VS Rowden. Crazy to think after the way he ended last season that he might only be considered as GB's number 3 currently.
400m and 400mh look interesting, Norman vs Kerley and Benjamin vs Samba

It'll be 100° F (they're not running in the WC stadium).
Some of those times may be a bit optimistic.
i am really really afraid what will happen in that flat 400m i hope we will see first sub 44 performance since 2019
I think kerley and norman will both go under 44, or get close to it. Nobody went sub 44 last year because no one ran it, all of the sprints in 2020 were weak.

Yikes, you are right. Somewhat absurd to me that they will hold it there and not in the bigger, domed stadium! Looks like we can expect mid 90s temps with it run in the evening. I think the 800s won't be too affected. The 1500s maybe a tad, but the 3000 and Steeple definitely should be a bit slower.
Bump - I think there could be some juicy headlines!
The m200 has everybody, even Gatlin! Booo
w800 is now a wide open event with 1500 runners dropping down including Rababe the babe Arafi
m800 the guy with the best SB and 4th best PB has to be rabbit? Angling to be the new Bram Som maybe

Nijel Amos no longer being on the start list qualifies as a disappointment, and I too am surprised that Tuwei is evidently the pacer. Now it looks like a three man race between Rowden, Rotich and Kinyamal, though it’s hard to know what shape they’re in. Rotich deserves to be considered the favorite.
In the women’s race, if Kipyegon is in shape she will win. She’s an underrated contemporary great.

Off topic slightly, but I have to say McSweyn seems to race/rabbit a lot compared to some of the other really top guys. I make this his 7th event/meet this season? Good to see, as he is always a great watch - not as if he lives round the corner from these events either!
Jakob has ran 6x, but 4 of those were at Torun Indoors weekend, so only 3 meets.
Any news regarding pacing for 1500?

Sub 3:30 pace in the heat? If Cheruiyot manages this he’s crazy tough.
Expect a fast time from SAFP.
Richardson will not be present. You gotta love this sport, lol

Courtney Frerichs hasn't run 9:00.6.
(for what it's worth, neither will Coburn in Doha)
